Treehouse Art Werks

This spring, Glynn helped facilitate an art show for K Scott, the creator of Treehouse Art Werks. They met on a cold morning in January 2026. Glynn was working on a mural inside a restaurant, and K Scott was sleeping outside the front door. They became friends and connected over their shared love of art. K Scott makes art inspired by the three years he has been on the streets. His work is a reflection of what he sees. It also asks us to face the uncomfortable questions in our society - about our shared humanity, but our resistance to treat the unhoused with dignity. Treehouse Art Werks is about using art to uplift and inspire others.

He writes:

“A flower that finds itself different than the rest is at a point of low self-esteem. Yet does not realize its full potential. Not only does it determine the color pattern of all the others, it can regerminate itself. Where the others cannot, it will not die unless removed from its power source. It will finally realize its true worth when the others lift it up to a higher standard as well as to protect it. Realize your true worth and that you are beautiful in your own right, no matter what…”
