Low Tide 2024 – Solo Exhibition at Gallery Axis, Pioneer Square, Seattle

Low Tide 2024 is a solo exhibition by Seattle artist Glynn Rosenberg, on view at Gallery Axis in Pioneer Square, Seattle from November 2024 to January 2025. The series magnifies the ecosystems of tide pools, emphasizing their beauty, energy, and vulnerability. Using a cool color palette with accents of saturated orange, Rosenberg captures the life of Washington’s tidal zones—including Salt Creek, Lincoln Park, and Second Beach—through paintings on wood panels and canvas, as well as unique one-of-a-kind woven blankets. The works celebrate the richness of these microcosms while highlighting the impact of climate change, inviting viewers to connect with and preserve these hidden environments.
